Terms of service

These terms apply to the Nations at Arms website and game. By playing the game, you agree to them.

The game is in development

Nations at Arms is in alpha. The game changes often, features can be added, changed or removed, and you will run into bugs. The game may also be unavailable at times, for example during updates or maintenance, and for longer periods between playtests.

Saved games and progress

Your saves and game progress may be reset or deleted, for example when an update makes older saves incompatible. We keep your saves when we can, but we can't guarantee it.

Fair play

Please don't:

  • attack, overload or disrupt our servers, or try to access data or accounts that aren't yours
  • use bots or scripts to automate requests to our servers
  • deliberately exploit bugs to harm the service or other players

If you find a bug, please report it to us instead. We may suspend or delete accounts that break these rules.

Feedback and ideas

We're happy about every bug report and suggestion. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them to improve the game, without owing you anything for it.

Copyright

The game, its artwork and the website content belong to us or to the people who licensed them to us. You may share screenshots and videos of the game, including streams and videos you earn money with. Third-party material and its licenses are listed under "Licenses" in the site footer.

Liability

For slight negligence, we are only liable if we breach an obligation that is essential to providing the game and that you can normally rely on. In that case, our liability is limited to the damage that is typical and foreseeable for this kind of service.

This limit doesn't apply to damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, to injury to life, body or health, or to liability under the German Product Liability Act.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when new features or paid options launch. We'll announce important changes in advance. If a change affects something you've paid for, we'll ask for your agreement.

Applicable law

German law applies. If you are a consumer living in another country, the mandatory consumer protection laws of that country still apply to you.
